Just seeing them was a delight, and after a day of hectic work, all the fatigue seemed to melt away at the sight of this perfect couple. The stage had been completely set up, and the staff withdrew.

Soon after, the hosts entered the venue, bathed in white light. One wore a short white dress that accentuated her S-shaped figure. Her makeup was delicate, her long hair falling naturally over her shoulders.

A beauty needs little embellishment to reveal her unique charm. The other wore a fiery red puff dress, exuding a blend of cuteness and mischief. In her short hair, a heart-shaped clip added a playful touch, her cheeks dusted with powder.

Her bright, shining eyes sent sparks all around, eliciting shrieks from the crowd! Many in the audience cupped their cheeks, their faces dazed with infatuation.

Shangguan Xiao and Ouyang Xianyu waited backstage, Xiao widening her eyes, trying to glimpse the scene inside through the door. But Ouyang Xianyu kept pulling her back, making it impossible for her to get a clear view.

The difference in their heights left Shangguan Xiao unable to break free from Ouyang Xianyu's restraint; she could only obediently let him block her line of sight. She glared at him in discontent, but he acted as if he hadn't noticed her at all!

In truth, Ouyang Xianyu knew Shangguan Xiao would surely be annoyed, but for her safety, he had no choice but to keep her in check. After all, it was better to take precautions now than to let her cause trouble later!

In the shadowy backstage, Xiao's violet eyes shone dazzlingly. Hmph! Even if he wouldn't let her look now, once they entered, she'd see everything anyway! Just then, the hosts finally sent someone to invite them into the venue!

Shangguan Xiao and Ouyang Xianyu walked together toward the entrance. Compared to the darkness of backstage, the passage grew brighter with each step. The light was so intense they could hardly open their eyes! Xiao shielded her face with her hand.

Before they even entered, the two hosts spoke in unison, their voices melodious: "Now, let's welcome with applause the twin prodigies from S City Experimental Primary School!"

Amid the thunderous applause, Ouyang Xianyu and Shangguan Xiao made their dazzling entrance. No sooner had they stepped inside than waves of screams surged around them, growing louder and louder, like an unstoppable tide.

Ouyang Xianyu listened to the noise, his brows tightly knit. His cold, aloof aura contrasted sharply with the lively atmosphere around him—clearly, he disliked such scenes!

Everyone seemed as though they hadn't seen anyone but themselves for centuries, their adoring eyes practically brimming with hearts. In his opinion, they were just short of drooling! What an annoying bunch!

He never wanted to come to a place like this again! Xiao, accustomed to being surrounded by people, took it all in stride, smiling gently and waving to the audience.
