Time passed, and by the next day, they had already arrived at their destination. It was a small island, one not marked on any map.

Upon arrival, the airship beast released everyone on board, then transformed into a human form itself. The four demon beasts and the three beasts accompanying them proceeded directly to the depths of a cave. There, they found an elevator. The seven of them boarded it and descended further into the mountain. Eventually, they reached a spacious yet dimly lit chamber.

"Xue’er, we meet again," a figure slowly emerged from the shadows as they entered the space. Approaching closer, it became clear who it was—none other than the very person responsible for the hospitalizing of one of the beasts.

"So it’s you..." Black Snow glared, shouting furiously, "Why? Why won’t you just let me go?"

“Don’t worry, I will let you go.” Yet, as he spoke, a cruel glint appeared in his eyes, and the faint tenderness on his face vanished completely. His gaze then fell upon one of the beasts.

Looking at the boy before him, the beast’s eyes softened with pity. “You’re not the same person anymore, are you?”

“You have a sharp eye,” the boy nodded. “My name is Tian Wu Beast.”

Frowning, the beast asked, “The reason you brought us here isn’t to have us die in front of you, is it?”

“You guessed right again,” Tian Wu Beast sneered coldly. “But unfortunately, I don’t like overly clever people. Demon Beast, kill them.”

As Tian Wu Beast turned to leave, the beast challenged, “What if I don’t want you to kill us?”

Hearing this, Demon Beast paused, hesitating as he glanced at Tian Wu Beast.

Tian Wu Beast scoffed, turning to face the beast. “Then tell me, what right do you have to live here?”

“Because they can’t kill me.” The moment the beast spoke, an overwhelming digital beast aura erupted from him, shining with dazzling white light. From within, the true form of the beast revealed itself.

Beast X—unknown attribute, unknown species, an ultimate digital beast. In other words, this was his true form.

To be honest, ever since Demon Beast appeared, the beast had sensed he could digitize. But at that time, even if he did, his level wouldn’t have been high—at best, a mature stage digital beast like Demon Beast.

Although they were both mature stage, the beast was confident he could defeat them all. But upon learning they had a leader, he refrained from attacking immediately.

He also pondered how he had become a digital beast at all. Previously, he couldn’t transform. Later, he sensed a faint mysterious aura radiating from Demon Beast and the others. The aura wasn’t strong, but it was the only plausible explanation.

Now, in this space, the surrounding aura was strong enough to allow him to assume his strongest form. He no longer needed to fear. In his ultimate form, he was capable of facing any formidable enemy. If even his ultimate form couldn’t defeat someone, it was simpler to just surrender.

“An ultimate digital beast?” Tian Wu Beast’s eyes narrowed sharply, his breathing deepening. “What kind of monster are you?”

Beast X chuckled coldly. “That’s a question I should be asking you.”

“I already said, I am Tian Wu Beast, one of the rulers of the Digital World.” As he spoke, a powerful digital beast aura burst forth from him, and he transformed into a digital beast.

Tian Wu Beast was an ancestral shaman-type virus species, an ultimate digital beast whose signature move was the [Wind Split Explosion]. He had eight heads with human faces, the body of a tiger, and ten tails—one of the twelve ancestral shaman digital beasts, representing the element of “Wind.”

The two digital beasts’ auras clashed intensely. Neither the four mature stage digital beasts nor the female landlord and her companion could tell who was stronger.

“Unexpected to encounter such a tough opponent like you, but no matter what, you will die,” Tian Wu Beast declared. Suddenly, multiple whirlpools appeared around him, from which wind blades emerged, striking toward Beast X.

Beast X’s self-aware wings behind him trembled, and feathers made of the Time Digital Alloy transformed into sharp projectiles, colliding with the wind blades.

“Boom!” One by one, the wind blades were shattered by the alloy feathers. After all, wind blades could never compare to the strength of Time Digital Alloy.

The [Seven Demon God Sword] appeared in Beast X’s hand—a long sword imbued with darkness and engraved with unknown digital inscriptions. With a step forward, he closed in on Tian Wu Beast and swung the sword down in a powerful strike.

“Endless Wind Flow,” Tian Wu Beast summoned, as torrents of wind surged around him, sweeping toward Beast X and causing his steps to falter. If Beast X had been walking on solid ground before, now it felt like wading through a swamp.

“Do you think that will stop me?” Beast X sneered, swinging the [Seven Demon God Sword] again. The surging sword energy sliced through the wind flow and charged straight at Tian Wu Beast.

“Damn it.” Tian Wu Beast’s eyes widened in alarm. He immediately moved with the wind currents around him to narrowly evade the strike.

“Thousand Nets Complete.” Once more, the feathers behind Beast X swept toward Tian Wu Beast in a relentless assault.

“After all, I’m an ultimate digital beast too. Don’t underestimate me.” Tian Wu Beast said, no longer dodging but instead unleashing the [Wind Split Explosion] right where he stood.
