Chapter 115: The Andulu Beast

It was Andromon.

Andromon, a Cyborg-type Vaccine Digimon, is an Ultimate-level Digimon whose signature move is the [Gatling Missile]. As a humanoid cyborg, it possesses terrifying combat power capable of defeating any Digimon that has not yet reached the Ultimate level in a single blow.

Andromon was originally developed as a prototype for Cyborg-type Digimon. It was manufactured during the same period as the flesh-based Cyborg Digimon, Boltmon. Later, this technology was utilized for MetalGreymon and Megadramon. However, because Andromon was a prototype, it lacked a will or emotions, acting strictly according to its programming. Furthermore, some Andromon could obtain more powerful data to undergo version upgrades, making them even stronger.

Ichimon did not expect that Ogremon X would evolve into Andromon (Note: Currently, Ogremon X can only evolve from Ogremon and has no further evolution. However, since Ogremon can evolve into Andromon, this evolution chain has been modified here to allow Ogremon X to evolve into Andromon as well). Moreover, the comprehensive combat power of this particular Andromon reached an astonishing 5,201.314.

Reflecting on it, this did not seem entirely wrong. After all, Ogremon X’s previous combat power had already reached 1,800. For the current Ogremon X to reach over 5,200 was quite reasonable.

"Human, intruder, perish." Andromon’s gaze fixed on Ichimon, then shifted to Paildramon beside him, before finally returning to Ichimon. Its chest plating opened, launching two missiles toward Ichimon.

Ichimon shouted, "Paildramon, take action!"

If Andromon’s combat power had only been around 4,000, Ichimon would have certainly stepped forward to challenge it one-on-one. But unfortunately, Andromon’s combat power was over 5,200. In other words, Andromon’s power exceeded Ichimon’s by more than 1,000. From Andromon’s perspective, Ichimon had only about 80 percent of its strength. From Ichimon’s perspective, Andromon was more than 1.25 times stronger than him.

From any angle, Andromon’s combat power was far superior to Ichimon’s; Andromon held the advantage. If Ichimon were to stubbornly refuse Paildramon’s help now, he would likely be killed and sent back to await rebirth.

[Desperado Blaster!] Upon hearing Ichimon’s command, Paildramon’s eyes narrowed. The two biological cannons on its waist extended, firing at Andromon’s two missiles. They instantly detonated the projectiles, creating a cloud of smoke.

"Human, perish." A voice emerged from the smoke, and Andromon’s figure suddenly appeared directly in front of Ichimon and Paildramon.

[Spinning Blade!] As it appeared, Andromon’s hands rotated at high speed, transforming into spinning blades as it attacked them.

[Spike!] A spike protruded from Paildramon’s arm, which it used to parry Andromon’s blade.

[Sword of Destruction!] Ichimon summoned his Sword of Destruction to clash against the other spinning blade.

Upon impact, both Ichimon and Paildramon were forced to retreat a distance. It was clear that Andromon’s offensive power surpassed both of them. Although Paildramon’s combat power was less than 100 points lower than Andromon’s, the gap in their actual offensive capabilities was significant. In other words, in a one-on-one duel, Paildramon would likely be inferior to Andromon.

Though Ichimon’s hands were occupied gripping the Sword of Destruction, his "Demon Lord’s Might" remained free. Almost exactly as his sword clashed with Andromon’s blade, the manifestation of his Demon Lord’s Might clenched its fist and threw a punch at Andromon.

[Desperado Blaster!] As for Paildramon, although it too needed its spike to hold off the spinning blade, its waist cannons remained unconstrained. Thus, just as the Demon Lord’s Might threw its punch, Paildramon’s cannons fired at Andromon as well.

[Gatling Missile!] Furthermore, although Andromon’s hands had become spinning blades, its chest was not restricted. Therefore, at the same time the Demon Lord’s Might punched and Paildramon fired, Andromon launched two more missiles from its chest to intercept their attacks.

"Boom!" The three attacks collided, producing a thunderous explosion. The resulting shockwave from the center of the blast forced all three combatants apart.

"So strong." Ichimon watched the black mist rising from the center of the explosion, his face grave. It was expected that Andromon would be stronger, given its combat power was 1,000 points higher than his.

The problem was that Andromon was holding its own in a two-on-one fight. Even though the combined combat power of the two he was fighting reached over 9,000—a figure that cannot simply be added together—it proved that while both sides were powerful, Andromon was stronger still.

Paildramon, with a combat power of over 5,000, possessed an offensive power of over 20,000. Judging by Andromon’s performance, even though its combat power was similar to Paildramon’s, its offensive power likely far exceeded 20,000; the exact figure remained unknown.

Just as this thought flashed through Ichimon’s mind, Andromon surged out from the black mist of the explosion, charging toward Ichimon and Paildramon once again.

It was evident that the previous exchange had not left Andromon unscathed; there were new marks on its surface. However, this clearly did not affect its combat effectiveness.

Watching the approaching Andromon, Ichimon’s eyes tightened, and he prepared to unleash that technique.
