"Please, I'm begging you, just one more hit and half a month's work will go to waste." The taxi driver clasped his hands together in a plea.

He was just an ordinary man, and Lu Feng didn't want to make things difficult for him. He stepped out of the taxi, glanced at the dented door where the steel rod had struck, then turned to the long-haired thug, his tone casual. "Pay for the repairs."

The long-haired gangster was stunned—he hadn't expected Lu Feng to make such a demand.

The taxi driver, however, was so frightened that his vision blurred and he nearly fainted. He hurried to plead, "No need, no need... I broke it myself..."

Seeing the driver's fear, the long-haired thug grew smug. With a sneer, he said, "You heard him, didn't you? He broke it himself!"

The other three henchmen, seeing their boss subdued, raised their machetes to rush forward. Lu Feng pressed the rod harder against the leader's neck.

A cry of pain burst out as the thug's neck cracked ominously beneath the pressure, nearly breaking. He quickly raised a hand to stop his men. "Stay back!"
